Don\u2019t be too stubborn to think you can do it yourself.<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;Ask a friend, aunt, niece, husband, boyfriend, lover, whoever, but don\u2019t even think about starting on the steps I\u2019m about to tell you until you have someone to help you. &nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>One more thing.<\/p>\n<p>Before you start, make sure you have all the materials you\u2019re going to need both to section your hair as well as for when you apply the balayage.<\/p>\n<p>What materials do you need?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m about to tell you that very thing right now.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Materials you need to section your hair to do a balayage<\/h2>\n<p>You don\u2019t need too many materials to section your hair, but they are all essential.<\/p>\n<p>Basically, you\u2019ll just need two or three things, depending on how long your hair is.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>1- Brush<\/h3>\n<p>You can use this to detangle your hair if it\u2019s long.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>2- Wide-toothed comb<\/h3>\n<p>Use this to detangle your hair if it\u2019s short.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>3- Pin\/Rat Tail Comb<\/h3>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;We could say that this is the main character in this story. Without a pin or rat tail comb, there\u2019s no balayage.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>You\u2019ll use it to separate your locks and comb upward. You\u2019ll use the \u201ctail\u201d of the comb to separate your hair.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>4- Hair clips<\/h3>\n<p>Hair clips are the next most important characters in this story. If you have long hair, use a traditional brush. With the tail comb, draw a line that goes from your forehead to your neck, cutting your hair evenly in half.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Then, also with the tail comb, draw a second line that goes from ear to ear. You can use the highest point of your ears for reference.<\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">After drawing those two lines, your hair will be divided into two sections.<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll have to tie back each section, so they don\u2019t get mixed together. Take each part, one by one, make a small bun, and clip it into place.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Step 3<\/h3>\n<p>This is the hardest step because this is where you need to work with the back part of your head.<\/p>\n<p>And unless you have elastic arms or an extra arm, you\u2019re going to need somebody else to help you.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So far, you\u2019ve divided your hair into 4 sections. It doesn\u2019t matter, you can start with whichever side you prefer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So, take out the bun, bush, or comb your hair out to make sure there are no knots.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Step 4<\/h3>\n<p>Right now, you have 4 sections in your hair.<\/p>\n<p>Three are still tied up.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019re going to work with the fourth section, the one that your helper undid in the last step.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With the tail comb, estimate 1 centimeter and separate out the first lock. Once you\u2019ve already sectioned it away from the others, <a href=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/en\/does-balayage-always-use-bleach\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">apply bleach to it<\/a> and wrap it in tin foil.<\/p>\n<p>Then, leave 2 centimeters and separate out another lock. Apply bleach to it and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wikihow.com\/Apply-Highlight-and-Lowlight-Foils-to-Hair\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">wrap it in tin foil<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Repeat until you reach the end of this section of hair.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Step 5<\/h3>\n<p>Repeat step 4 on each of the fourths of your hair.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Step 6<\/h3>\n<p>Let the bleach sit, then take off the aluminum foil and rinse your hair.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m not going to go too much into detail during this part because the idea of this article to tell you about the process of sectioning your hair to do a balayage.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>If you want your balayage to turn out good, don\u2019t make these 4 mistakes when you\u2019re sectioning your hair<\/h2>\n<p>When it comes time to section your hair for your balayage, there are a few common mistakes. I think it\u2019s a shame, because they\u2019re errors that are easy to avoid if you look out for them.<\/p>\n<p>So, I\u2019ll tell you what these mistakes are.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Mistake 1<\/h3>\n<p>The most common mistake is not leaving enough hair between each lock. A todas las mujeres nos sucede que cuando estamos alegres festejamos con un cambio de look y cuando estamos en un mal momento renovamos las energ\u00edas en el sal\u00f3n. \u2022 Estudie en IAP (Instituto Argentino de peluquer\u00eda) para recibir mi t\u00edtulo de estilista en el a\u00f1o 2006. \u2022 Luego en el instituto tambi\u00e9n me especialice en colorimetr\u00eda, los colores y tonos del cabello son fundamentales para expresar lo que uno desea. \u2022 En el a\u00f1o 2015 en IAP tom\u00e9 cursos de alisado, b\u00f3tox y cauterizaci\u00f3n capilar. \u2022 Y en el a\u00f1o 2017 t\u00e9cnicas de desgastado (balayage, californianas etc). Mantenerse actualizada en las tendencias es fundamental para cualquier estilista. Cuando veo a mis clientas que ven el cabello exactamente como lo so\u00f1aban para mi es un logro personal. Me dedico especialmente a realizar cambios de look, colores fantas\u00edas, balayage, decoloraciones progresivas etc. Trabaje en varios salones, para adquirir toda la pr\u00e1ctica que necesitaba. La cadena de peluquer\u00edas \u00d3scar Colombo fue mi primer sal\u00f3n donde aprend\u00ed a interpretar a las clientas y a trabajar en equipo. Despu\u00e9s de un tiempo cambie mi enfoque a looks m\u00e1s osados en Monster Style, dedic\u00e1ndome full time a color, este sal\u00f3n en particular se dedicaba a cambios extremos colores fantas\u00edas y no convencionales, me sirvi\u00f3 mucho para aprender a utilizar la gama de tonos. Hasta que finalmente decid\u00ed armar mi sal\u00f3n en la comodidad de mi casa. A todas las mujeres nos sucede que cuando estamos alegres festejamos con un cambio de look y cuando estamos en un mal momento renovamos las energ\u00edas en el sal\u00f3n. \u2022 Estudie en IAP (Instituto Argentino de peluquer\u00eda) para recibir mi t\u00edtulo de estilista en el a\u00f1o 2006. \u2022 Luego en el instituto tambi\u00e9n me especialice en colorimetr\u00eda, los colores y tonos del cabello son fundamentales para expresar lo que uno desea. \u2022 En el a\u00f1o 2015 en IAP tom\u00e9 cursos de alisado, b\u00f3tox y cauterizaci\u00f3n capilar. \u2022 Y en el a\u00f1o 2017 t\u00e9cnicas de desgastado (balayage, californianas etc). Mantenerse actualizada en las tendencias es fundamental para cualquier estilista. Cuando veo a mis clientas que ven el cabello exactamente como lo so\u00f1aban para mi es un logro personal. Me dedico especialmente a realizar cambios de look, colores fantas\u00edas, balayage, decoloraciones progresivas etc. Trabaje en varios salones, para adquirir toda la pr\u00e1ctica que necesitaba. La cadena de peluquer\u00edas \u00d3scar Colombo fue mi primer sal\u00f3n donde aprend\u00ed a interpretar a las clientas y a trabajar en equipo. Despu\u00e9s de un tiempo cambie mi enfoque a looks m\u00e1s osados en Monster Style, dedic\u00e1ndome full time a color, este sal\u00f3n en particular se dedicaba a cambios extremos colores fantas\u00edas y no convencionales, me sirvi\u00f3 mucho para aprender a utilizar la gama de tonos. Hasta que finalmente decid\u00ed armar mi sal\u00f3n en la comodidad de mi casa.
