That\u2019s totally normal!<\/p>\n<p>But, like always, I have a solution for you:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Toning products.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>A toner is a product that just adds color pigments to your hair to neutralize bright, unwanted colors. <\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> You can also use them if your hair starts to lose its shine after a few washes to renew the color.<\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When you first leave the salon, your balayage will look amazing, but after a few washes, the color will wear out.<\/p>\n<p>That happens for a few different reasons: the chemicals in your shampoo, cream baths, and water salinity.<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;That\u2019s why a toning product is a perfect tool for maintaining your balayage as bright as it was the first day you got it. &nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Now, did you know that toning products come in several different colors and formats?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> First, I\u2019m going to tell you about the three different formats that toning products come in<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> And then, I\u2019m going to help you choose the best color toning product for your balayage. <\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Toning products come in three different formats<\/h2>\n<p>Toner comes in three different forms: <div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Toning shampoo<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Toner<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Pure pigments <\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Which of the three options is best for you?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Toning Shampoo<\/h3>\n<p>The easiest product to use is by far toning shampoo. That\u2019s why I recommend using shampoo if you don\u2019t have any experience with hair coloring.<\/p>\n<p>You just have to <a href=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/en\/leaving-purple-shampoo-in-hair-for-an-hour\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">let it sit for 5-10 minutes<\/a> and rinse. Yes, it\u2019s that easy.<\/p>\n<p>That way, every time you wash your hair, you\u2019ll also tone your balayage.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">There are toning shampoos for all kinds of hair colors and shades, from red to golden blonde.<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What color shampoo should you choose for your balayage?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ll tell you in a few seconds.<\/p>\n<p>But first, I want to tell you about toner.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Toner<\/h3>\n<p>Toner is a little bit harder to use, but it\u2019s not different from applying hair dye.<\/p>\n<p>Have you ever dyed your hair? If so, you won\u2019t have any issue with toner.<\/p>\n<p>The first thing you\u2019ll have to do is choose the right color toner. <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>You\u2019ll also have to buy 20-volume peroxide and have a pair of gloves on hand to apply the product.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Once you have all the materials, you can begin.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Mix the 20-volume peroxide with the toner in a plastic container.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Once the mix is smooth, apply the mix to your hair with gloves as if it were a cream bath.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Let it sit for 20-30 minutes and rinse. <\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You\u2019ll see right away that your color has a new life.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Pure Pigments<\/h3>\n<p>The last toning product format is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goldwell.us\/services\/pure-pigments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pure pigments<\/a>, pure colors like red, purple, yellow, or grey.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>You apply them in the same way as you would a toner, but they\u2019re hard to get in just any store; you\u2019ll have to go to a store for stylists or a hair salon\u2019s store.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;But, let me warn you, dear friend, that they are tough to work with. If you don\u2019t have any knowledge about hair coloring, I would not recommend them at all. &nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>Like I told you about the other two methods, I also want to tell you how this one works. But, I repeat, if you don\u2019t know anything about hair coloring, choose one of the other options.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> You apply this like you would the toner or any other dye.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Mix the 20-volume peroxide with the pure pigments and apply the mixture to your hair with gloves on like you would with a keratin bath.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> But there is the critical detail: you should only leave pure pigments in your hair for 10-20 minutes, no more!<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> If you leave it in for longer, your hair will look like it was painted on with watercolor, and there is nothing a stylist can do to fix it, not even with bleach. <\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So, now, you know.<\/p>\n<p>If you don\u2019t have any experience with dyeing your hair, choose the toning shampoo or the toner. Your goal is the same; it\u2019s just the way you get there that\u2019s different.<\/p>\n<p>You still need to know which color toner to choose for your balayage.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s what I\u2019m going to tell you about now.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>What color toning product should you choose for your balayage?<\/h2>\n<p>You already know that toning products come in three forms.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m going to tell you which toner to choose according to what your balayage needs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Platinum Balayage<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14580\" src=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/shampoo-no-yellow-fanola.jpg\" alt=\"for lightened and bleached hair\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/shampoo-no-yellow-fanola.jpg 500w, https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/shampoo-no-yellow-fanola-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/shampoo-no-yellow-fanola-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If your balayage is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glamour.com\/gallery\/platinum-blonde-hair-products-reviews\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">platinum blonde<\/a>, your hair might fade to a pale blonde, which you might not be happy with.<\/p>\n<p>If that happens, then you have two options to get it back to its original color:<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Use a pink\/purple toning shampoo. (I\u2019d recommend No Yellow by Fanola. It\u2019s easy to get and affordable. )<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Use a silver-grey toner. Some brands call this a grey toner, while others call it grey dye. <\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Ash Balayage<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12199\" src=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/loreal-silver-shampoo.jpg\" alt=\"yellowish grey hairs\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/loreal-silver-shampoo.jpg 500w, https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/loreal-silver-shampoo-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/loreal-silver-shampoo-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you have an ashy balayage, then with time, it might fade to a buttery blonde.<\/p>\n<p>If that happens, then you have two options to get it back to its original color:<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Use a grey or silver toning shampoo. (<a href=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/en\/loreal-silver-shampoo-before-and-after\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Loreal Silver works well<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Use a grey toner (you can ask for grey toner or dye in the store)<\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Blonde Balayage<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22784\" src=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/revlon-colorstay.jpg\" alt=\"toning blonde balayage\" width=\"200\" height=\"550\" srcset=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/revlon-colorstay.jpg 200w, https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/revlon-colorstay-109x300.jpg 109w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you have a blonde balayage, your hair might start to look yellow after some time.<\/p>\n<p>If that happens, you just have one option.<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Use a toning shampoo for blonde hair (like Revlon\u2019s Color Stay line)<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Depending on the shade of blonde you have, you should be able to choose a shampoo that\u2019s best adapted to your hair (coppery blonde, golden blonde, honey blonde, caramel blonde, etc.). <\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Honey Balayage<\/h3>\n<p>If you have a honey-colored balayage, it might look yellow after some time.<\/p>\n<p>To solve this, you just have one option.<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> You must tone blonde hair with shampoo. So, your only option, in this case, is to use a purple toning shampoo. (For example, the No Yellow one by Fanola that I previously mentioned). <\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Caramel Balayage<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22785\" src=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/no-orange-fanola.jpg\" alt=\"for caramel balayage\" width=\"300\" height=\"550\" srcset=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/no-orange-fanola.jpg 300w, https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/no-orange-fanola-164x300.jpg 164w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If your balayage is a caramel color, it will start to <a href=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/en\/dyed-my-hair-blonde-and-it-came-out-orange\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">turn orange with time<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> The solution is to use an orange toning shampoo (like No Orange by Fanola). <\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve been paying attention, then you\u2019ll have noticed that what each of the products that I\u2019ve named does is add a few pigments to your hair to cancel out unwanted tones.<\/p>\n<p>For example, to cancel out yellows, you can use purple shampoo. To cancel out oranges, you can use blue shampoo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>How often should I use toning shampoo on my balayage? How often should I use a toner?<\/h2>\n<p>I recommend using toning shampoo every time you wash your hair.<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> If you wash your hair every day, use the toning shampoo every day.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> If you wash it every other day, then use the toning shampoo every other day. It\u2019s that simple.<\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;The shampoo has color pigments and cleaning agents, so you don&#8217;t need to use the shampoo in combination with another one. Just using the toning shampoo is enough. &nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You should only apply toner once a month or when your balayage\u2019s color has reached a point that you can\u2019t bear it anymore.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">So, when you leave the hair salon with a brand new balayage, you have two options:<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Use a toning shampoo periodically to maintain your color. A todas las mujeres nos sucede que cuando estamos alegres festejamos con un cambio de look y cuando estamos en un mal momento renovamos las energ\u00edas en el sal\u00f3n. \u2022 Estudie en IAP (Instituto Argentino de peluquer\u00eda) para recibir mi t\u00edtulo de estilista en el a\u00f1o 2006. \u2022 Luego en el instituto tambi\u00e9n me especialice en colorimetr\u00eda, los colores y tonos del cabello son fundamentales para expresar lo que uno desea. \u2022 En el a\u00f1o 2015 en IAP tom\u00e9 cursos de alisado, b\u00f3tox y cauterizaci\u00f3n capilar. \u2022 Y en el a\u00f1o 2017 t\u00e9cnicas de desgastado (balayage, californianas etc). Mantenerse actualizada en las tendencias es fundamental para cualquier estilista. Cuando veo a mis clientas que ven el cabello exactamente como lo so\u00f1aban para mi es un logro personal. Me dedico especialmente a realizar cambios de look, colores fantas\u00edas, balayage, decoloraciones progresivas etc. Trabaje en varios salones, para adquirir toda la pr\u00e1ctica que necesitaba. La cadena de peluquer\u00edas \u00d3scar Colombo fue mi primer sal\u00f3n donde aprend\u00ed a interpretar a las clientas y a trabajar en equipo. Despu\u00e9s de un tiempo cambie mi enfoque a looks m\u00e1s osados en Monster Style, dedic\u00e1ndome full time a color, este sal\u00f3n en particular se dedicaba a cambios extremos colores fantas\u00edas y no convencionales, me sirvi\u00f3 mucho para aprender a utilizar la gama de tonos. Hasta que finalmente decid\u00ed armar mi sal\u00f3n en la comodidad de mi casa. Mi casa le da a mis clientas la tranquilidad de tener un espacio para ellas \u00fanicamente y totalmente personal, de esta manera cada una de ellas sabe que tienen un d\u00eda para distenderse y tambi\u00e9n, porque no, hablar de sus cosas. Para mi lo m\u00e1s importante es que obtengan el resultado que esperaban, as\u00ed que siempre pido una foto de referencia para saber bien que es lo que buscan y les doy un diagn\u00f3stico realista de cuantas sesiones llevar\u00e1, el da\u00f1o en el cabello, si se puede realizar o no.
