I thought she must have gone on vacation.<\/p>\n<p>Then, the next month she didn\u2019t show again, and I started to get worried since Caitlyn had been a loyal client for almost 10 years, and we had developed something of a friendship.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Maybe she\u2019d been in an accident or something, I didn\u2019t know, and I was worried, so I called her. I was so surprised when I heard her voice on the other end of the line; she sounded perfect!<\/p>\n<p>When I saw sure she was safe and sound, I asked her why she had stopped coming to the salon. That\u2019s when she told me the truth.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She was tired of maintaining her hair\u2019s color!<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;She was tired of running to the salon every single time any little bits of gray started to appear at her roots.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>But now she was embarrassed to go out with her hair looking like that.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I knew Caitlyn well, so I knew that her appearance was essential to her. With that in mind, I proposed that she come to the salon so we could change her hair color.<\/p>\n<p>I was proposing to change her <a href=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/en\/best-blonde-hair-color-to-cover-gray\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">gray hair to light blonde<\/a>, which would help hide where her gray started growing in at the roots, so she wouldn\u2019t have to be attentive when she needed to come back to the salon.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> First, we bleached her hair since her hair was chocolate brown. With hair so dark, she didn\u2019t have a choice about bleaching it if she was going to get to a point where we could use the blonde dye. <\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I used a <a href=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/en\/what-volume-developer-should-i-use-to-cover-gray\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">20 volume developer<\/a> and foil to speed up the process, and once her hair was bleached, I used a golden blonde dye on all of her hair.<\/p>\n<p>What a change!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> But, best of all, Caitlyn loved it, and now she only needs to come to the salon every 5-6 weeks to maintain her color.<\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And there are months where she can even skip the maintenance if she feels like it since her lighter hair hides the gray much better.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> If you\u2019re going through the same thing as Caitlyn and tired of the maintenance, or even if you feel like changing your color, remember that it\u2019s not always necessary to bleach your hair to change your color.<\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can use a dye up to 2 shades lighter than your current color without needing to bleach your hair.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> For example, if your hair is already shade 7 and you want a lighter blonde, you can use a 9 without any issues. <\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If your hair is a shade 6 and you want to go to light blonde, you can use an 8 shade and won\u2019t run into any problems.<\/p>\n<p>You only need to bleach your hair when you\u2019re lightening it in more than 2 shades, like Caitlyn, who was starting at a chocolate 5 and wanted a very light blonde 9.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> If you need to bleach your hair to get to, say, platinum 11, remember that you shouldn\u2019t use developer stronger than 20 volume, so you don\u2019t damage your hair.<\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The lighter you go with the color, the better hidden your gray will be.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Now, maybe you want to lighten your hair but not use a dye afterward.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s on-trend these days: many women wear their gray and wrinkles with dignity and poise.<\/p>\n<p>But that doesn\u2019t mean that you need to let it grow out without touching it, since for many women, your hair grows in gray, and you want it to be white. Siempre fui curiosa y cada vez que mi madre y mi abuela iban al sal\u00f3n las acompa\u00f1aba para ver los distintos procesos, preguntaba todo lo que pod\u00eda y cuando ya estaba en mi casa armaba mi propio sal\u00f3n con mis juguetes. As\u00ed fue como m\u00e1s de adolescente me convert\u00ed en la \u201cestilista\\\" de todas mis amigas, realizaba decoloraciones, aplicaba tintes y hacia cambios totales de look. A los 20 a\u00f1os incursione en peinados para eventos y casamientos. Siempre me gust\u00f3 la idea de poder jugar con el cabello la infinidad de posibilidades y los cambios que genera en el autoestima de las mujeres. Siento que el cabello es el marco de la cara, lo que nos da impronta y reafirma nuestra personalidad. Desde tiempos ancestrales el cabello representa la sexualidad femenina. A todas las mujeres nos sucede que cuando estamos alegres festejamos con un cambio de look y cuando estamos en un mal momento renovamos las energ\u00edas en el sal\u00f3n. \u2022 Estudie en IAP (Instituto Argentino de peluquer\u00eda) para recibir mi t\u00edtulo de estilista en el a\u00f1o 2006. \u2022 Luego en el instituto tambi\u00e9n me especialice en colorimetr\u00eda, los colores y tonos del cabello son fundamentales para expresar lo que uno desea. \u2022 En el a\u00f1o 2015 en IAP tom\u00e9 cursos de alisado, b\u00f3tox y cauterizaci\u00f3n capilar. \u2022 Y en el a\u00f1o 2017 t\u00e9cnicas de desgastado (balayage, californianas etc). Mantenerse actualizada en las tendencias es fundamental para cualquier estilista. Cuando veo a mis clientas que ven el cabello exactamente como lo so\u00f1aban para mi es un logro personal. Me dedico especialmente a realizar cambios de look, colores fantas\u00edas, balayage, decoloraciones progresivas etc. Trabaje en varios salones, para adquirir toda la pr\u00e1ctica que necesitaba. La cadena de peluquer\u00edas \u00d3scar Colombo fue mi primer sal\u00f3n donde aprend\u00ed a interpretar a las clientas y a trabajar en equipo. Despu\u00e9s de un tiempo cambie mi enfoque a looks m\u00e1s osados en Monster Style, dedic\u00e1ndome full time a color, este sal\u00f3n en particular se dedicaba a cambios extremos colores fantas\u00edas y no convencionales, me sirvi\u00f3 mucho para aprender a utilizar la gama de tonos. Hasta que finalmente decid\u00ed armar mi sal\u00f3n en la comodidad de mi casa. Mi casa le da a mis clientas la tranquilidad de tener un espacio para ellas \u00fanicamente y totalmente personal, de esta manera cada una de ellas sabe que tienen un d\u00eda para distenderse y tambi\u00e9n, porque no, hablar de sus cosas. Para mi lo m\u00e1s importante es que obtengan el resultado que esperaban, as\u00ed que siempre pido una foto de referencia para saber bien que es lo que buscan y les doy un diagn\u00f3stico realista de cuantas sesiones llevar\u00e1, el da\u00f1o en el cabello, si se puede realizar o no. En resumen, la peluquer\u00eda es mi vocaci\u00f3n y mi arte. No podr\u00eda haber hecho otra cosa en mi vida que ser estilista.
