She said, \u201cAbby.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Abby had used a strawberry red dye on her brown hair, <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>but instead of following the instructions on the color kit, she had used a 30 volume developer on her hair.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>When I asked her why she did that, she told me that her friend told her to do it so the red would take to her hair better.<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;It\u2019s great to listen to your friends, but if they don\u2019t have experience in coloring hair, then don\u2019t follow their advice about coloring your hair. &nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>30 volume developer lightens hair. kit, you\u2019ll find a tube of dye, developer cream, and a post-color treatment inside the box.<\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The developer cream in the box is a 20 volume developer.<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;You should not replace it with a different developer or peroxide like Abby did.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div couldn\u2019t get to that same strawberry red since her roots were too light, giving her a very different base color.<\/p>\n<p>I used a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.garnierusa.com\/tips-how-tos\/most-popular-red-hair-color-shades\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">burgundy red<\/a> on her hair, instead, which is a darker color, and her hair turned out perfectly.<\/p>\n<p>Keep Abby\u2019s story in mind when you dye your hair so your it turns out even.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>What is the ratio of dye to developer that you should use?<\/h2>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Another common question is what proportion of dye and developer you should use for the dye mix.<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you buy a box dye kit, then you don\u2019t need to worry about the amount of dye and developer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The manufacturers of these kits measure out the proportions of both ingredients perfectly so it\u2019s easier for you.<\/p>\n<p>All you have to do is mix and then it\u2019s ready: The proportions will be balanced with the right volume of developer.<\/p>\n<p>But, what if you buy the ingredients separately?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To figure out the ideal proportions, you need to know how much dye you have.<\/p>\n<p>The ratio of developer to dye is 1 to 1. <div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> That means that if you have 60 ml of dye, then you should mix it with 60 ml of developer.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> If your dye is 55 ml, then you need 55 ml of developer. <\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You\u2019re probably asking yourself: What happens if I don\u2019t use the right ratio?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The answer is simple: You won\u2019t get the result you were looking for.<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> If you use more developer than dye, your hair will only absorb some of the dye, leaving you with a dim color, as a result, nothing like what you were hoping for.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> If you use more dye than developer, your hair won\u2019t have enough developer to go through the chemical reaction that makes your hair absorb the pigment, just giving your hair a red hue rather than the full color you wanted. <\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You must use the right proportion of dye to developer, so you end up with the perfect, bright red you\u2019re hoping for.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Conclusions<\/h2>\n<p>Abby was very happy when she saw her new color.<\/p>\n<p>Her roots and the rest of her hair were all the same color and it was A todas las mujeres nos sucede que cuando estamos alegres festejamos con un cambio de look y cuando estamos en un mal momento renovamos las energ\u00edas en el sal\u00f3n. \u2022 Estudie en IAP (Instituto Argentino de peluquer\u00eda) para recibir mi t\u00edtulo de estilista en el a\u00f1o 2006. \u2022 Luego en el instituto tambi\u00e9n me especialice en colorimetr\u00eda, los colores y tonos del cabello son fundamentales para expresar lo que uno desea. \u2022 En el a\u00f1o 2015 en IAP tom\u00e9 cursos de alisado, b\u00f3tox y cauterizaci\u00f3n capilar. \u2022 Y en el a\u00f1o 2017 t\u00e9cnicas de desgastado (balayage, californianas etc). Mantenerse actualizada en las tendencias es fundamental para cualquier estilista. Cuando veo a mis clientas que ven el cabello exactamente como lo so\u00f1aban para mi es un logro personal. Me dedico especialmente a realizar cambios de look, colores fantas\u00edas, balayage, decoloraciones progresivas etc. Trabaje en varios salones, para adquirir toda la pr\u00e1ctica que necesitaba. La cadena de peluquer\u00edas \u00d3scar Colombo fue mi primer sal\u00f3n donde aprend\u00ed a interpretar a las clientas y a trabajar en equipo. Despu\u00e9s de un tiempo cambie mi enfoque a looks m\u00e1s osados en Monster Style, dedic\u00e1ndome full time a color, este sal\u00f3n en particular se dedicaba a cambios extremos colores fantas\u00edas y no convencionales, me sirvi\u00f3 mucho para aprender a utilizar la gama de tonos. Hasta que finalmente decid\u00ed armar mi sal\u00f3n en la comodidad de mi casa. Mi casa le da a mis clientas la tranquilidad de tener un espacio para ellas \u00fanicamente y totalmente personal, de esta manera cada una de ellas sabe que tienen un d\u00eda para distenderse y tambi\u00e9n, porque no, hablar de sus cosas. Para mi lo m\u00e1s importante es que obtengan el resultado que esperaban, as\u00ed que siempre pido una foto de referencia para saber bien que es lo que buscan y les doy un diagn\u00f3stico realista de cuantas sesiones llevar\u00e1, el da\u00f1o en el cabello, si se puede realizar o no. En resumen, la peluquer\u00eda es mi vocaci\u00f3n y mi arte. No podr\u00eda haber hecho otra cosa en mi vida que ser estilista. Siento que el cabello es el marco de la cara, lo que nos da impronta y reafirma nuestra personalidad. Desde tiempos ancestrales el cabello representa la sexualidad femenina. A todas las mujeres nos sucede que cuando estamos alegres festejamos con un cambio de look y cuando estamos en un mal momento renovamos las energ\u00edas en el sal\u00f3n. \u2022 Estudie en IAP (Instituto Argentino de peluquer\u00eda) para recibir mi t\u00edtulo de estilista en el a\u00f1o 2006. \u2022 Luego en el instituto tambi\u00e9n me especialice en colorimetr\u00eda, los colores y tonos del cabello son fundamentales para expresar lo que uno desea. \u2022 En el a\u00f1o 2015 en IAP tom\u00e9 cursos de alisado, b\u00f3tox y cauterizaci\u00f3n capilar. \u2022 Y en el a\u00f1o 2017 t\u00e9cnicas de desgastado (balayage, californianas etc). Mantenerse actualizada en las tendencias es fundamental para cualquier estilista. Cuando veo a mis clientas que ven el cabello exactamente como lo so\u00f1aban para mi es un logro personal. Me dedico especialmente a realizar cambios de look, colores fantas\u00edas, balayage, decoloraciones progresivas etc. Trabaje en varios salones, para adquirir toda la pr\u00e1ctica que necesitaba. La cadena de peluquer\u00edas \u00d3scar Colombo fue mi primer sal\u00f3n donde aprend\u00ed a interpretar a las clientas y a trabajar en equipo. Despu\u00e9s de un tiempo cambie mi enfoque a looks m\u00e1s osados en Monster Style, dedic\u00e1ndome full time a color, este sal\u00f3n en particular se dedicaba a cambios extremos colores fantas\u00edas y no convencionales, me sirvi\u00f3 mucho para aprender a utilizar la gama de tonos. Hasta que finalmente decid\u00ed armar mi sal\u00f3n en la comodidad de mi casa. Mi casa le da a mis clientas la tranquilidad de tener un espacio para ellas \u00fanicamente y totalmente personal, de esta manera cada una de ellas sabe que tienen un d\u00eda para distenderse y tambi\u00e9n, porque no, hablar de sus cosas. Para mi lo m\u00e1s importante es que obtengan el resultado que esperaban, as\u00ed que siempre pido una foto de referencia para saber bien que es lo que buscan y les doy un diagn\u00f3stico realista de cuantas sesiones llevar\u00e1, el da\u00f1o en el cabello, si se puede realizar o no. En resumen, la peluquer\u00eda es mi vocaci\u00f3n y mi arte. No podr\u00eda haber hecho otra cosa en mi vida que ser estilista. Por eso el nombre se mi sal\u00f3n es Ponete Linda, ponete linda para vos siempre.
