Her hair was a bright, light blonde color, 8.0, but her roots grow in a light brown 6.0 color. She always comes to the salon to get her roots touched up.<\/p>\n<p>But, the last time she visited me, she broke my heart because she had destroyed her hair. That day when she got into the salon and pulled her hat off, I saw that her roots had grown in an inch to an inch and a half. But, that wasn\u2019t the worst part.<\/p>\n<p>The worst part is that <a href=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/en\/how-to-fix-orange-roots-in-dark-brown-hair\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">her roots were orange<\/a>. I mean orange like the carrots you put in your salads.<\/p>\n<p>What marvelous idea did Cynthia have that turned them that color?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She decided to lighten her roots, but to do it, she used a 30 volume developer in her hair for more than 40 minutes. The result?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She \u201cover-processed\u201d her roots. And that\u2019s why they turned orange in addition to having lost their moisture.<\/p>\n<p>What she should have done to <a href=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/en\/how-to-dye-hair-evenly-with-roots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">even her roots out with the rest of her hair<\/a> used a 20 volume developer and leave it in for 10 or 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>So what did we have to do to fix her mistake?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I had to bleach her roots to get rid of all that orange and then even out the color with dye.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s very important that before you start to lighten your roots, you understand the difference between two distinct processes. <div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> To lighten your hair, you can use different tools, like peroxide, chamomile, lightening shampoo, etc.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> To bleach your hair, you use peroxide and bleach powder (ammonia). <\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s true that bleaching your hair damages it more because peroxide mixed with ammonia makes a chemical reaction that breaks your hair cuticles. That way, your hair fiber expulses all of its pigment, natural or artificial.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, when we talk about lightening your roots, what we\u2019re looking to do is fade your hair fiber, degrade the color, and therefore lighten it 1-2 levels.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why, if you have dark hair, you\u2019ll need to bleach your roots because peroxide alone won\u2019t be enough to work on your pigment, and your hair will end up orange.<\/p>\n<p>If your hair is very light or medium light, then you\u2019ll have the option to lighten your roots.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>That said, let\u2019s get to what we\u2019re trying to do. Don\u2019t move from your spot, because I\u2019m going to tell you:<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> How to lighten your roots without bleaching them in very light hair<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> How to lighten your roots without bleaching them in medium light hair<\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>How to lighten your roots without bleaching them if you have very light hair<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26289\" src=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/elegir-color-tinte-ombre.jpg\" alt=\"hair color kits different brands\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/elegir-color-tinte-ombre.jpg 500w, https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/elegir-color-tinte-ombre-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/elegir-color-tinte-ombre-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>If your hair is within the range of light blonde, 8.0, or 9.0, then you should use a 30 volume developer on your roots and leave it in for 20 minutes max.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>That way, your roots will end up even with the rest of your hair.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you use a weaker developer, then your roots won\u2019t lighten enough for your color to turn out even.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s how you should use it: <div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Part your hair down the middle and comb it out so you can see your roots clearly.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> With gloves on, use a cream 30 volume developer only on your roots, applying it with a dye brush.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Leave it in for 10-20 minutes, <span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;but you should take a close look at the color every 5 minutes. This is very important \u2013 please don\u2019t let yourself get distracted for any reason at all! &nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> When you get to the same color as the rest of your hair, rinse with plenty of water.<\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If after this process, you want to use a dye, you can do it no problem. And <span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;if you want to lighten your roots again, then you can repeat this process.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>But you can only do it up to two times in a row to avoid excessively damaging your roots.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>How to lighten your roots without bleaching light or medium-light hair<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>If your hair is with the range of light or medium colors, you should use a 20 volume developer and leave it in for 20 minutes max.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">And this would be your case if your hair is light brown 6 or blonde 7.<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At the store, you\u2019ll be able to find different forms of peroxide \u2013 it comes in liquid or cream, with essential oils or aloe vera. I recommend using a cream peroxide with oils or aloe.<\/p>\n<p>Because your hair will receive less damage than if you use a liquid peroxide and it\u2019s easier to use cream since it won\u2019t drip or run the same way liquid peroxide does.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;Now, all that\u2019s left is to use it on your roots and leave it in for 10-20 minutes. And don\u2019t forget to check on the color every five minutes!&nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>Once your roots have lightened to the color you\u2019re looking for, all you\u2019ll need to do is rinse your hair.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I recommend that after using it on your hair and rinsing it out, you should nurture your hair with a few drops of coconut oil or a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allure.com\/gallery\/best-hair-masks-for-damaged-hair\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">hydrating, reparative mask<\/a> with keratin.<\/p>\n<p>And if you want, you can use your normal dye on your hair, so the color is completely and totally even.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Conclusions<\/h2>\n<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> If your hair is very light and you want to lighten your roots, then you should use a 30 volume cream peroxide and leave it in for 20 minutes max.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> And if your hair is medium-light, then you should opt for a 20 volume developer and leave it in for 20 minutes max.<\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;In both cases, it\u2019s very important to you keep an eye on how your roots are reacting to the peroxide, checking on the color every 5 minutes. &nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Now if your roots are a dark color, then you don\u2019t have any option except to bleach them.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>And now you tell me: What will you do with your roots? A todas las mujeres nos sucede que cuando estamos alegres festejamos con un cambio de look y cuando estamos en un mal momento renovamos las energ\u00edas en el sal\u00f3n. \u2022 Estudie en IAP (Instituto Argentino de peluquer\u00eda) para recibir mi t\u00edtulo de estilista en el a\u00f1o 2006. \u2022 Luego en el instituto tambi\u00e9n me especialice en colorimetr\u00eda, los colores y tonos del cabello son fundamentales para expresar lo que uno desea. \u2022 En el a\u00f1o 2015 en IAP tom\u00e9 cursos de alisado, b\u00f3tox y cauterizaci\u00f3n capilar. \u2022 Y en el a\u00f1o 2017 t\u00e9cnicas de desgastado (balayage, californianas etc). Mantenerse actualizada en las tendencias es fundamental para cualquier estilista. Cuando veo a mis clientas que ven el cabello exactamente como lo so\u00f1aban para mi es un logro personal. Me dedico especialmente a realizar cambios de look, colores fantas\u00edas, balayage, decoloraciones progresivas etc. Trabaje en varios salones, para adquirir toda la pr\u00e1ctica que necesitaba. La cadena de peluquer\u00edas \u00d3scar Colombo fue mi primer sal\u00f3n donde aprend\u00ed a interpretar a las clientas y a trabajar en equipo. Despu\u00e9s de un tiempo cambie mi enfoque a looks m\u00e1s osados en Monster Style, dedic\u00e1ndome full time a color, este sal\u00f3n en particular se dedicaba a cambios extremos colores fantas\u00edas y no convencionales, me sirvi\u00f3 mucho para aprender a utilizar la gama de tonos. Hasta que finalmente decid\u00ed armar mi sal\u00f3n en la comodidad de mi casa. Mi casa le da a mis clientas la tranquilidad de tener un espacio para ellas \u00fanicamente y totalmente personal, de esta manera cada una de ellas sabe que tienen un d\u00eda para distenderse y tambi\u00e9n, porque no, hablar de sus cosas. Para mi lo m\u00e1s importante es que obtengan el resultado que esperaban, as\u00ed que siempre pido una foto de referencia para saber bien que es lo que buscan y les doy un diagn\u00f3stico realista de cuantas sesiones llevar\u00e1, el da\u00f1o en el cabello, si se puede realizar o no. En resumen, la peluquer\u00eda es mi vocaci\u00f3n y mi arte. No podr\u00eda haber hecho otra cosa en mi vida que ser estilista. Siento que el cabello es el marco de la cara, lo que nos da impronta y reafirma nuestra personalidad. Desde tiempos ancestrales el cabello representa la sexualidad femenina. A todas las mujeres nos sucede que cuando estamos alegres festejamos con un cambio de look y cuando estamos en un mal momento renovamos las energ\u00edas en el sal\u00f3n. \u2022 Estudie en IAP (Instituto Argentino de peluquer\u00eda) para recibir mi t\u00edtulo de estilista en el a\u00f1o 2006. \u2022 Luego en el instituto tambi\u00e9n me especialice en colorimetr\u00eda, los colores y tonos del cabello son fundamentales para expresar lo que uno desea. \u2022 En el a\u00f1o 2015 en IAP tom\u00e9 cursos de alisado, b\u00f3tox y cauterizaci\u00f3n capilar. \u2022 Y en el a\u00f1o 2017 t\u00e9cnicas de desgastado (balayage, californianas etc). Mantenerse actualizada en las tendencias es fundamental para cualquier estilista. Cuando veo a mis clientas que ven el cabello exactamente como lo so\u00f1aban para mi es un logro personal. Me dedico especialmente a realizar cambios de look, colores fantas\u00edas, balayage, decoloraciones progresivas etc. Trabaje en varios salones, para adquirir toda la pr\u00e1ctica que necesitaba. La cadena de peluquer\u00edas \u00d3scar Colombo fue mi primer sal\u00f3n donde aprend\u00ed a interpretar a las clientas y a trabajar en equipo. Despu\u00e9s de un tiempo cambie mi enfoque a looks m\u00e1s osados en Monster Style, dedic\u00e1ndome full time a color, este sal\u00f3n en particular se dedicaba a cambios extremos colores fantas\u00edas y no convencionales, me sirvi\u00f3 mucho para aprender a utilizar la gama de tonos. Hasta que finalmente decid\u00ed armar mi sal\u00f3n en la comodidad de mi casa. Mi casa le da a mis clientas la tranquilidad de tener un espacio para ellas \u00fanicamente y totalmente personal, de esta manera cada una de ellas sabe que tienen un d\u00eda para distenderse y tambi\u00e9n, porque no, hablar de sus cosas. Para mi lo m\u00e1s importante es que obtengan el resultado que esperaban, as\u00ed que siempre pido una foto de referencia para saber bien que es lo que buscan y les doy un diagn\u00f3stico realista de cuantas sesiones llevar\u00e1, el da\u00f1o en el cabello, si se puede realizar o no. En resumen, la peluquer\u00eda es mi vocaci\u00f3n y mi arte. No podr\u00eda haber hecho otra cosa en mi vida que ser estilista. Por eso el nombre se mi sal\u00f3n es Ponete Linda, ponete linda para vos siempre.
