It was worse than the storm in the movie &#8220;The Perfect Storm&#8221; with George Clooney.<\/p>\n<p>It was three o&#8217;clock in the afternoon, and Maria Paz entered the salon. My hair stood on end, and my heart stopped for a few milliseconds. She was wearing her dyed hair and a stunning smile.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What the hell did she do?&#8221; I thought.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She asked me if I liked her colored hair.<\/p>\n<p>After answering that the color was very nice because it really was, I informed her that we couldn&#8217;t do the protein treatment. Maria Paz turned into \u201cMaria Guerra\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She raised her voice and shouted when saying that she already had the appointment. She had the anniversary dinner with her boyfriend, and was angry.<\/p>\n<p>Appealing to the tranquility of Tibetan monks, <span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;I explained to her that I didn\u2019t recommend the protein treatment. If she had it on her freshly dyed hair, her hair color would lighten up to two shades.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She wouldn\u2019t listen. I tried to give her <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>other options to nourish her hair and eliminate frizz,<\/strong><\/span> but Maria Paz was still stubborn. She swore that she wanted to take the risk.<\/p>\n<p>I know that, in a nervous breakdown, a client may say something they regret when they see the results in the mirror.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s why, with all the pain in my soul, I would rather lose a client than give her the best advice even if she didn&#8217;t want to hear it.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, she did. Maria Paz left the salon without her protein treatment. The proteins form small links in a long chain within the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hair\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hair\u2019s core<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>These links break. They can be broken by the abuse of heat tools, hair dyes, and even long exposures to the sun or chlorinated water.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;When you apply a protein treatment, such as Keratin, biotin, collagen, elastin, or ceramides, the empty spaces in those links are filled in.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>Therefore, after protein treatment, your hair looks shiny, silky, and strong.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Most protein treatments are applied with heat to activate the proteins and help them settle into empty spaces. This way, they fill in each hair strand.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Therefore, any time is appropriate to apply a keratin treatment, except if you color your hair.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Why do I have to wait 15 days after coloring to apply a keratin treatment?<\/h2>\n<p>When you apply a <a href=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/en\/does-hair-dye-lighten-after-a-few-days-and-washes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">permanent hair dye, it finishes settling<\/a> after about fourteen days. That is, your hair continues to absorb the hair dye and expel the excess during those days.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The first few days after applying the hair dye, your hair is saturated with color. The core slowly absorbs it until it\u2019s filled with pigmentation. A todas las mujeres nos sucede que cuando estamos alegres festejamos con un cambio de look y cuando estamos en un mal momento renovamos las energ\u00edas en el sal\u00f3n. \u2022 Estudie en IAP (Instituto Argentino de peluquer\u00eda) para recibir mi t\u00edtulo de estilista en el a\u00f1o 2006. \u2022 Luego en el instituto tambi\u00e9n me especialice en colorimetr\u00eda, los colores y tonos del cabello son fundamentales para expresar lo que uno desea. \u2022 En el a\u00f1o 2015 en IAP tom\u00e9 cursos de alisado, b\u00f3tox y cauterizaci\u00f3n capilar. \u2022 Y en el a\u00f1o 2017 t\u00e9cnicas de desgastado (balayage, californianas etc). Mantenerse actualizada en las tendencias es fundamental para cualquier estilista. Cuando veo a mis clientas que ven el cabello exactamente como lo so\u00f1aban para mi es un logro personal. Me dedico especialmente a realizar cambios de look, colores fantas\u00edas, balayage, decoloraciones progresivas etc. Trabaje en varios salones, para adquirir toda la pr\u00e1ctica que necesitaba. La cadena de peluquer\u00edas \u00d3scar Colombo fue mi primer sal\u00f3n donde aprend\u00ed a interpretar a las clientas y a trabajar en equipo. Despu\u00e9s de un tiempo cambie mi enfoque a looks m\u00e1s osados en Monster Style, dedic\u00e1ndome full time a color, este sal\u00f3n en particular se dedicaba a cambios extremos colores fantas\u00edas y no convencionales, me sirvi\u00f3 mucho para aprender a utilizar la gama de tonos. Hasta que finalmente decid\u00ed armar mi sal\u00f3n en la comodidad de mi casa. Mi casa le da a mis clientas la tranquilidad de tener un espacio para ellas \u00fanicamente y totalmente personal, de esta manera cada una de ellas sabe que tienen un d\u00eda para distenderse y tambi\u00e9n, porque no, hablar de sus cosas. Para mi lo m\u00e1s importante es que obtengan el resultado que esperaban, as\u00ed que siempre pido una foto de referencia para saber bien que es lo que buscan y les doy un diagn\u00f3stico realista de cuantas sesiones llevar\u00e1, el da\u00f1o en el cabello, si se puede realizar o no. En resumen, la peluquer\u00eda es mi vocaci\u00f3n y mi arte. No podr\u00eda haber hecho otra cosa en mi vida que ser estilista. Siento que el cabello es el marco de la cara, lo que nos da impronta y reafirma nuestra personalidad. Desde tiempos ancestrales el cabello representa la sexualidad femenina. A todas las mujeres nos sucede que cuando estamos alegres festejamos con un cambio de look y cuando estamos en un mal momento renovamos las energ\u00edas en el sal\u00f3n. \u2022 Estudie en IAP (Instituto Argentino de peluquer\u00eda) para recibir mi t\u00edtulo de estilista en el a\u00f1o 2006. \u2022 Luego en el instituto tambi\u00e9n me especialice en colorimetr\u00eda, los colores y tonos del cabello son fundamentales para expresar lo que uno desea. \u2022 En el a\u00f1o 2015 en IAP tom\u00e9 cursos de alisado, b\u00f3tox y cauterizaci\u00f3n capilar. \u2022 Y en el a\u00f1o 2017 t\u00e9cnicas de desgastado (balayage, californianas etc). Mantenerse actualizada en las tendencias es fundamental para cualquier estilista. Cuando veo a mis clientas que ven el cabello exactamente como lo so\u00f1aban para mi es un logro personal. Me dedico especialmente a realizar cambios de look, colores fantas\u00edas, balayage, decoloraciones progresivas etc. Trabaje en varios salones, para adquirir toda la pr\u00e1ctica que necesitaba. La cadena de peluquer\u00edas \u00d3scar Colombo fue mi primer sal\u00f3n donde aprend\u00ed a interpretar a las clientas y a trabajar en equipo. Despu\u00e9s de un tiempo cambie mi enfoque a looks m\u00e1s osados en Monster Style, dedic\u00e1ndome full time a color, este sal\u00f3n en particular se dedicaba a cambios extremos colores fantas\u00edas y no convencionales, me sirvi\u00f3 mucho para aprender a utilizar la gama de tonos. Hasta que finalmente decid\u00ed armar mi sal\u00f3n en la comodidad de mi casa. Mi casa le da a mis clientas la tranquilidad de tener un espacio para ellas \u00fanicamente y totalmente personal, de esta manera cada una de ellas sabe que tienen un d\u00eda para distenderse y tambi\u00e9n, porque no, hablar de sus cosas. Para mi lo m\u00e1s importante es que obtengan el resultado que esperaban, as\u00ed que siempre pido una foto de referencia para saber bien que es lo que buscan y les doy un diagn\u00f3stico realista de cuantas sesiones llevar\u00e1, el da\u00f1o en el cabello, si se puede realizar o no. En resumen, la peluquer\u00eda es mi vocaci\u00f3n y mi arte. No podr\u00eda haber hecho otra cosa en mi vida que ser estilista. Por eso el nombre se mi sal\u00f3n es Ponete Linda, ponete linda para vos siempre.
