And I don&#8217;t mean the love of a man.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m talking about a passion for bubblegum pink hair.<\/p>\n<p>When you know the whole story, you\u2019ll be able to make the best decision.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Maria and Eugenia are two friends who have known each other for many years. They decided to celebrate their friendship\u2019s anniversary by dyeing their hair pink.<\/p>\n<p>They both chose a bubblegum pink that looked fantastic on them.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;During the application of the hair dye, I told them about the care they should take, especially when washing their hair.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>As you know, and they also did, the semi-permanent hair dye fades with washes.<\/p>\n<p>Why?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Unlike permanent hair dyes, they don\u2019t deposit inside the hair to change the color.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, semi-permanent hair dye is actually a kind of pigment film that covers the hair surface. This is why the color film disappears with each wash.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Going back to the story of our two friends, I gave them two precise instructions:<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Don\u2019t wash your hair for three days<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Use sulfate-free shampoo from the first wash<\/div><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Believe me, I understand why people get excited about a change of look.<\/p>\n<p>And in the case of these two friends, I understand the excitement even more. They shared the joy of the hair color change and the celebration of a new anniversary of their friendship.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I only asked them to pay attention to two simple things: <span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;don\u2019t wash the newly semi-permanent hair color for at least seventy-two hours, and always use sulfate-free shampoo.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>However, it seems that their excitement blocked their memory.<\/p>\n<p>Two days later, one of them returned to the salon, and not to thank me for her change of look.<\/p>\n<p>She wanted to reapply the semi-permanent hair dye. Do you know why?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Because the color was completely gone<\/strong>.<\/span> By now, you&#8217;re probably trying to guess which of the two friends came back to touch up the hair dye.<\/p>\n<p>Still, focus. Do you remember her?<\/p>\n<p>And as you&#8217;ve probably guessed, she&#8217;s the person who returned to the salon two days after coloring her hair with a semi-permanent hair dye.<\/p>\n<p>But why had she washed her hair?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Because she paid more attention to the color than to my directions. So, hours after leaving the salon, she washed her hair. The friends would celebrate the change of look and, of course, their friendship.<\/p>\n<p>But she was not prepared for the disaster that would occur in her shower. As she wet her hair, she saw that the water was getting pinker and pinker. That is, they <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthline.com\/health\/how-to-get-rid-of-greasy-hair\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">remove grease, dirt,<\/a> and any other element that is deposited in your mane.<\/p>\n<p>But, they also remove the semi-permanent hair dye because the color is simply deposited on the outer layer of the hair.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In this case, Eugenia had used a shampoo with sulfates. Water and shampoo with sulfates are a bomb for semi-permanent hair dye.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s why the bubblegum pink was almost completely gone.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;Once you apply the semi-permanent hair dye, your hair beauty routine should change.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>You should discard all products containing sulfates such as shampoo, conditioner, and moisturizing masks.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>I\u2019ll tell you how to wash your hair the first time after semi-permanent hair color<\/h2>\n<p>This procedure should be repeated every time you wash your hair.<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> In the shower, wet your hair with lukewarm, almost cold water.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> In the palm of your hand, apply as much sulfate-free shampoo as needed. A todas las mujeres nos sucede que cuando estamos alegres festejamos con un cambio de look y cuando estamos en un mal momento renovamos las energ\u00edas en el sal\u00f3n. \u2022 Estudie en IAP (Instituto Argentino de peluquer\u00eda) para recibir mi t\u00edtulo de estilista en el a\u00f1o 2006. \u2022 Luego en el instituto tambi\u00e9n me especialice en colorimetr\u00eda, los colores y tonos del cabello son fundamentales para expresar lo que uno desea. \u2022 En el a\u00f1o 2015 en IAP tom\u00e9 cursos de alisado, b\u00f3tox y cauterizaci\u00f3n capilar. \u2022 Y en el a\u00f1o 2017 t\u00e9cnicas de desgastado (balayage, californianas etc). Mantenerse actualizada en las tendencias es fundamental para cualquier estilista. Cuando veo a mis clientas que ven el cabello exactamente como lo so\u00f1aban para mi es un logro personal. Me dedico especialmente a realizar cambios de look, colores fantas\u00edas, balayage, decoloraciones progresivas etc. Trabaje en varios salones, para adquirir toda la pr\u00e1ctica que necesitaba. La cadena de peluquer\u00edas \u00d3scar Colombo fue mi primer sal\u00f3n donde aprend\u00ed a interpretar a las clientas y a trabajar en equipo. A todas las mujeres nos sucede que cuando estamos alegres festejamos con un cambio de look y cuando estamos en un mal momento renovamos las energ\u00edas en el sal\u00f3n. \u2022 Estudie en IAP (Instituto Argentino de peluquer\u00eda) para recibir mi t\u00edtulo de estilista en el a\u00f1o 2006. \u2022 Luego en el instituto tambi\u00e9n me especialice en colorimetr\u00eda, los colores y tonos del cabello son fundamentales para expresar lo que uno desea. \u2022 En el a\u00f1o 2015 en IAP tom\u00e9 cursos de alisado, b\u00f3tox y cauterizaci\u00f3n capilar. \u2022 Y en el a\u00f1o 2017 t\u00e9cnicas de desgastado (balayage, californianas etc). Mantenerse actualizada en las tendencias es fundamental para cualquier estilista. Cuando veo a mis clientas que ven el cabello exactamente como lo so\u00f1aban para mi es un logro personal. Me dedico especialmente a realizar cambios de look, colores fantas\u00edas, balayage, decoloraciones progresivas etc. Trabaje en varios salones, para adquirir toda la pr\u00e1ctica que necesitaba. La cadena de peluquer\u00edas \u00d3scar Colombo fue mi primer sal\u00f3n donde aprend\u00ed a interpretar a las clientas y a trabajar en equipo.
