She wanted to take her dark blonde to a chocolate brown.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I thought it would suit her because the chocolate brown would brighten her face and bring out the color of her hazel eyes.<\/p>\n<p>When I finished the coloring job, Rosita was happy, and I was even happier. There\u2019s nothing better for a hairdresser than having satisfied clients.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Before she left the salon after coloring her hair, I gave her two very specific and simple instructions: <div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Don&#8217;t wash your hair for 72 hours.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Use a sulfate-free shampoo to protect the new hair color. <\/strong><strong><\/div><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re simple instructions, aren&#8217;t they? And very easy to follow.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Well, I don&#8217;t know what part Rosita didn&#8217;t understand.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know at what point she forgot my directions.<\/p>\n<p>All I know is that she called me an hour ago to tell me that there was almost nothing left of her chocolate brown.<\/p>\n<p>What did she mean?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Then, she told me she had washed her hair.<\/p>\n<p>I thought I\u2019d made my point clear.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-37159\" src=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/lavado-de-pelo-con-shampoo.jpg\" alt=\"remove hair dye\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" srcset=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/lavado-de-pelo-con-shampoo.jpg 650w, https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/lavado-de-pelo-con-shampoo-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It had only been 24 hours since the coloring job.<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp; To make matters worse, she had washed her hair with her usual sulfate shampoo.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>Of course, the color had faded. Of course, the beautiful chocolate brown had gone down the drain.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Even worse, she wanted me to color her hair again and for free.<\/p>\n<p>First, I wasn&#8217;t going to dye her hair again because you shouldn\u2019t <a href=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/en\/dyed-my-hair-today-can-i-dye-it-again-tomorrow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dye your hair two days in a row<\/a>. Actually, you can, but it would ruin your hair.<\/p>\n<p>Also, Rosita was to blame for not having followed my directions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I needed some tea to relax.<\/p>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t want to suffer the same fate as Rosita, follow my advice.<\/p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>You should never wash your hair 24 hours after coloring it<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-37834\" src=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/mujer-lava-su-pelo-rubio.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" srcset=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/mujer-lava-su-pelo-rubio.jpg 650w, https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/mujer-lava-su-pelo-rubio-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It applies to both <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>permanent and semi-permanent hair dye.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>But I&#8217;ll start with permanent hair dye.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp; You should let the permanent hair dye settle in for around three days before washing it. &nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>The permanent dye penetrates the inner layer of the hair because the developer lifts the cuticles for the new color to reach the hair core.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You need to <a href=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/en\/how-long-to-leave-dye-in-hair\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">leave the dye on for approximately 45 minutes<\/a> for the pigments to be absorbed by the core.<\/p>\n<p>Then, you should <a href=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/en\/rinse-out-hair-dye\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rinse your hair to remove the excess dye<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Most permanent box dyes include a post-color treatment to nourish your hair and help the cuticles to close.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll ask you a question: do you think the coloring process finishes at that moment?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Surprise!<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp; The coloring process doesn&#8217;t end when you rinse the dye. As a result, the new color will start to fade.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, the water will fade the color. Instead, the color pigments adhere to the outside layers of your hair creating a color film on each strand of your hair.<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp; Therefore it needs time to settle and fully adhere to your hair. &nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you wash your hair less than three days after coloring it, you run the risk of fading the color. <a href=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/en\/how-long-does-semi-permanent-hair-dye-last\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Semi-permanent hair dyes fades with washes<\/a>. A todas las mujeres nos sucede que cuando estamos alegres festejamos con un cambio de look y cuando estamos en un mal momento renovamos las energ\u00edas en el sal\u00f3n. \u2022 Estudie en IAP (Instituto Argentino de peluquer\u00eda) para recibir mi t\u00edtulo de estilista en el a\u00f1o 2006. \u2022 Luego en el instituto tambi\u00e9n me especialice en colorimetr\u00eda, los colores y tonos del cabello son fundamentales para expresar lo que uno desea. \u2022 En el a\u00f1o 2015 en IAP tom\u00e9 cursos de alisado, b\u00f3tox y cauterizaci\u00f3n capilar. \u2022 Y en el a\u00f1o 2017 t\u00e9cnicas de desgastado (balayage, californianas etc). Mantenerse actualizada en las tendencias es fundamental para cualquier estilista. Cuando veo a mis clientas que ven el cabello exactamente como lo so\u00f1aban para mi es un logro personal. Me dedico especialmente a realizar cambios de look, colores fantas\u00edas, balayage, decoloraciones progresivas etc. Trabaje en varios salones, para adquirir toda la pr\u00e1ctica que necesitaba. La cadena de peluquer\u00edas \u00d3scar Colombo fue mi primer sal\u00f3n donde aprend\u00ed a interpretar a las clientas y a trabajar en equipo. Despu\u00e9s de un tiempo cambie mi enfoque a looks m\u00e1s osados en Monster Style, dedic\u00e1ndome full time a color, este sal\u00f3n en particular se dedicaba a cambios extremos colores fantas\u00edas y no convencionales, me sirvi\u00f3 mucho para aprender a utilizar la gama de tonos. Hasta que finalmente decid\u00ed armar mi sal\u00f3n en la comodidad de mi casa. Mi casa le da a mis clientas la tranquilidad de tener un espacio para ellas \u00fanicamente y totalmente personal, de esta manera cada una de ellas sabe que tienen un d\u00eda para distenderse y tambi\u00e9n, porque no, hablar de sus cosas. Para mi lo m\u00e1s importante es que obtengan el resultado que esperaban, as\u00ed que siempre pido una foto de referencia para saber bien que es lo que buscan y les doy un diagn\u00f3stico realista de cuantas sesiones llevar\u00e1, el da\u00f1o en el cabello, si se puede realizar o no. Siento que el cabello es el marco de la cara, lo que nos da impronta y reafirma nuestra personalidad. Desde tiempos ancestrales el cabello representa la sexualidad femenina. A todas las mujeres nos sucede que cuando estamos alegres festejamos con un cambio de look y cuando estamos en un mal momento renovamos las energ\u00edas en el sal\u00f3n. \u2022 Estudie en IAP (Instituto Argentino de peluquer\u00eda) para recibir mi t\u00edtulo de estilista en el a\u00f1o 2006. \u2022 Luego en el instituto tambi\u00e9n me especialice en colorimetr\u00eda, los colores y tonos del cabello son fundamentales para expresar lo que uno desea. \u2022 En el a\u00f1o 2015 en IAP tom\u00e9 cursos de alisado, b\u00f3tox y cauterizaci\u00f3n capilar. \u2022 Y en el a\u00f1o 2017 t\u00e9cnicas de desgastado (balayage, californianas etc). Mantenerse actualizada en las tendencias es fundamental para cualquier estilista. Cuando veo a mis clientas que ven el cabello exactamente como lo so\u00f1aban para mi es un logro personal. Me dedico especialmente a realizar cambios de look, colores fantas\u00edas, balayage, decoloraciones progresivas etc. Trabaje en varios salones, para adquirir toda la pr\u00e1ctica que necesitaba. La cadena de peluquer\u00edas \u00d3scar Colombo fue mi primer sal\u00f3n donde aprend\u00ed a interpretar a las clientas y a trabajar en equipo. Despu\u00e9s de un tiempo cambie mi enfoque a looks m\u00e1s osados en Monster Style, dedic\u00e1ndome full time a color, este sal\u00f3n en particular se dedicaba a cambios extremos colores fantas\u00edas y no convencionales, me sirvi\u00f3 mucho para aprender a utilizar la gama de tonos. Hasta que finalmente decid\u00ed armar mi sal\u00f3n en la comodidad de mi casa. Mi casa le da a mis clientas la tranquilidad de tener un espacio para ellas \u00fanicamente y totalmente personal, de esta manera cada una de ellas sabe que tienen un d\u00eda para distenderse y tambi\u00e9n, porque no, hablar de sus cosas. Para mi lo m\u00e1s importante es que obtengan el resultado que esperaban, as\u00ed que siempre pido una foto de referencia para saber bien que es lo que buscan y les doy un diagn\u00f3stico realista de cuantas sesiones llevar\u00e1, el da\u00f1o en el cabello, si se puede realizar o no.
