Friends are a treasure to be treasured.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So, she didn&#8217;t apply the dye that day.<\/p>\n<p>The next day, when she woke up, she saw the hair dye mixture ready.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Without thinking twice, and before receiving another call for help from her friend, she applied it to her hair.<\/p>\n<p>What follows is a chronicle of a hair disaster.<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> The first ten minutes after applying the mixed hair dye, <span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp; she began to feel a terrible itch on her scalp. &nbsp;<\/span> She decided to wait. After all, she thought a little itching was normal.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Within twenty minutes, <span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp; the itching had turned into a terrible burning. &nbsp;<\/span> It was so terrible that even at times she couldn&#8217;t help scratching her scalp.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> After thirty minutes, <span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp; the burning turned to pain. &nbsp;<\/span> Then, she sensed something was wrong and decided to <a href=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/en\/rinse-out-hair-dye\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rinse the dye off<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> <span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp; When she tried to untangle her hair, she discovered in horror that strands were trapped in the brush. &nbsp;<\/span> Right then and there she ran off to my salon for help. <\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>The mixed hair dye from the previous day had ruined her hair. Both the peroxide and the developer were degraded.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Do you know what the worst part was?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I couldn&#8217;t help her as much as I would\u2019ve liked.<\/p>\n<p>I could only trim ten centimeters of her hair to try to remove the damaged part.<\/p>\n<p>I recommended that she make an appointment with a dermatologist. <span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp; Her scalp had some injuries that needed to be treated. &nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>I don&#8217;t want to scare you, but I must be clear.<\/p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>The mixed hair dye can&#8217;t be saved or stored to be used the next day<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-37461\" src=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/mujer-ti\u00f1e-su-pelo-con-tinte-de-caja.jpg\" alt=\"cover ombre with dye at home\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" srcset=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/mujer-ti\u00f1e-su-pelo-con-tinte-de-caja.jpg 650w, https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/mujer-ti\u00f1e-su-pelo-con-tinte-de-caja-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is because of a chemical reaction that neither you nor the best hairdresser in the world can change.<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp; The day after preparing the dye, chemicals such as peroxide and ammonia degrade. &nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>What does this mean?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When you mix the developer and ammonia to prepare the dye, they generate a chemical reaction that changes the color of your hair.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>this reaction has a beginning and an end<\/strong>.<\/span> It doesn&#8217;t last forever. So, at some point, it\u2019ll stop.<\/p>\n<p>When will it stop?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After about twenty minutes.<\/p>\n<p>The dye mixture\u2019s process is divided into stages:<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-list milista\" style=\"margin-left:0px\">\n<ul>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Initiation: when you mix the elements.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Reaction: when the dye changes color. The mixture is usually white when you apply it. But after a few minutes, it turns to a different color in your hair. That&#8217;s the reaction.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"sui sui-check-square-o\" style=\"color:#800080\"><\/i> Degradation: when the mixture finished the reaction. <\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp; The dye mixture is effective up to 45 minutes after preparing it. &nbsp;<\/span> It\u2019s most effective during the first 20 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Then, the degradation, or &#8220;the expiration&#8221;, as we stylists call it, begins.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>All the products we consume and use have an expiration date.<\/p>\n<p>What does this expiration date tell us?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If the product is consumed or used before that date, it\u2019ll be in optimal conditions.<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp; If you use it after that date, the product will be degraded or expired. &nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>The prepared dye has a shelf life of 40 to 45 minutes, which is the exposure time.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>This brings us to the next question.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>What could happen if you apply the mixed hair dye to your hair the next day?<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-37574\" src=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/pelo-da\u00f1ado-despues-de-te\u00f1ir.jpg\" alt=\"porous hair without elasticity\" width=\"650\" height=\"428\" srcset=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/pelo-da\u00f1ado-despues-de-te\u00f1ir.jpg 650w, https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/pelo-da\u00f1ado-despues-de-te\u00f1ir-300x198.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Something similar to my client\u2019s story will happen.<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp; You\u2019ll suffer quite serious consequences, both in your hair health and in the coloring results. &nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>Let&#8217;s start with the most important thing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>If you use the mixed hair dye the next day, you\u2019ll damage your hair and injure your scalp<\/h3>\n<p>Once the reaction ends, the mixture will no longer be creamy because its consistency will have changed.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the mixture will be liquid. A todas las mujeres nos sucede que cuando estamos alegres festejamos con un cambio de look y cuando estamos en un mal momento renovamos las energ\u00edas en el sal\u00f3n. \u2022 Estudie en IAP (Instituto Argentino de peluquer\u00eda) para recibir mi t\u00edtulo de estilista en el a\u00f1o 2006. \u2022 Luego en el instituto tambi\u00e9n me especialice en colorimetr\u00eda, los colores y tonos del cabello son fundamentales para expresar lo que uno desea. \u2022 En el a\u00f1o 2015 en IAP tom\u00e9 cursos de alisado, b\u00f3tox y cauterizaci\u00f3n capilar. \u2022 Y en el a\u00f1o 2017 t\u00e9cnicas de desgastado (balayage, californianas etc). Mantenerse actualizada en las tendencias es fundamental para cualquier estilista. Cuando veo a mis clientas que ven el cabello exactamente como lo so\u00f1aban para mi es un logro personal. Me dedico especialmente a realizar cambios de look, colores fantas\u00edas, balayage, decoloraciones progresivas etc. Trabaje en varios salones, para adquirir toda la pr\u00e1ctica que necesitaba. La cadena de peluquer\u00edas \u00d3scar Colombo fue mi primer sal\u00f3n donde aprend\u00ed a interpretar a las clientas y a trabajar en equipo. Despu\u00e9s de un tiempo cambie mi enfoque a looks m\u00e1s osados en Monster Style, dedic\u00e1ndome full time a color, este sal\u00f3n en particular se dedicaba a cambios extremos colores fantas\u00edas y no convencionales, me sirvi\u00f3 mucho para aprender a utilizar la gama de tonos. Hasta que finalmente decid\u00ed armar mi sal\u00f3n en la comodidad de mi casa. Mi casa le da a mis clientas la tranquilidad de tener un espacio para ellas \u00fanicamente y totalmente personal, de esta manera cada una de ellas sabe que tienen un d\u00eda para distenderse y tambi\u00e9n, porque no, hablar de sus cosas. Para mi lo m\u00e1s importante es que obtengan el resultado que esperaban, as\u00ed que siempre pido una foto de referencia para saber bien que es lo que buscan y les doy un diagn\u00f3stico realista de cuantas sesiones llevar\u00e1, el da\u00f1o en el cabello, si se puede realizar o no.
