She&#8217;s one of my clients who is a flight attendant. Because of her job, she needs her hair always to be neatly pulled up, almost 24 hours a day.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allure.com\/gallery\/best-hair-gel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">she uses gels, mousses, and holding products to keep her updos in place just about every day<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Of course, as months passed, her hair started to lose its natural shine and became heavy and flat. She said it felt like it was still sticky even if she washed it three times a week.<\/p>\n<p>What was happening to her hair?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>All of the hair products she used day in and day out left residue in her hair. And getting rid of that residue with a regular shampoo is hard.<\/p>\n<p>So, <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><b style=\"color: #800080;\">l <\/b><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><b>recommended<\/b><\/span><b style=\"color: #800080;\"> that she use a clarifying shampoo to do a deep clean on her hair and scalp at least once every 15 days.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A month later, Ariana&#8217;s hair was like new. It&#8217;d gotten back its natural shine and movement. So, Ariana started to include clarifying shampoo as a regular product in her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vogue.in\/magazine-story\/hair-care-tips-routine-thats-as-sophisticated-as-your-skincare-regimen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hair care routine.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I also recommended that she use water-based holding products, like leave-in conditioners or mousse.<\/p>\n<p>Because that way, she could avoid oil-based products, like creams and serums, that always leave a greasy residue in your hair.<\/p>\n<p>And Ariana uses clarifying shampoo about once a month.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But, <span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;Ariana doesn&#8217;t have colored hair.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;If Ariana had used clarifying shampoo so often on colored hair, the color would have disappeared entirely, and she would have had to touch it up every fifteen days.&nbsp;<\/span>That would be truly crazy!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So, having an obvious idea of <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>what you want to do with clarifying shampoo is essential.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Because if you have colored hair, clarifying shampoo could be your worst enemy, except in two cases.<\/p>\n<p>Want to know what those two cases are? What is that?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>My dear reader, we need to leave dye in our hair for a certain amount of time, usually 45 minutes.<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;When you leave dye in your hair for more than 45 minutes, what happens is that you saturate your hair with pigment.&nbsp;<\/span>\n<p>That&#8217;s why you should leave dye in your hair for a maximum of 45 minutes. You can&#8217;t <a href=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/en\/leaving-hair-dye-overnight\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">leave dye in all night<\/a> or even for two hours.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>YOU MAY ALSO BE INTERESTED IN: <a href=\"https:\/\/botoxcapilar.org\/en\/hair-dye-washing-out-everytime-i-shower\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Why Does my Hair Dye Wash Out Every Time I Shower?<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And when that happens, because nature is wise and so is your hair, <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>it will start to expel excess color.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>If you bought a color kit, when you opened that magic box, you probably noticed that inside there was a pretty big piece of water with some little drawings on it.<\/p>\n<p>That piece of paper had all the instructions laid out for how you should apply the dye and how long to leave it in.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you didn&#8217;t think it was important to read the instructions then you seem to have decided to accept the consequences. And so, probably, you leave the dye in your hair for more than 45 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Maybe it was only ten extra minutes. Yep, even just ten extra minutes can oversaturate your hair with pigments.<\/p>\n<span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;Because the hair has a limit as to how much it can absorb&nbsp;<\/span>. <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>And after 45 minutes, it can&#8217;t absorb any more dye.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I probably don&#8217;t need to tell you what happens when you oversaturate your hair with dye because I can imagine that your clothes, sheets, and everything your hair touches is screaming it at you.<\/p>\n<p>When you oversaturate your hair with dye, everything your hair touches will end up stained with dye.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you left the dye in your hair for the correct amount of time and your hair is still oversaturated,<span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong> what might have happened is that you chose a dye that is too dark or intense for your base color.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For example, if your hair is level 10 lightest blonde and you use a level 1 black dye, you&#8217;re saturating your hair with color.<\/p>\n<p>The same will happen if you use an intense red or orange dye on light base colors.<\/p>\n<p>Have you noticed that box dye kits also come with recommendations for choosing a color?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Those recommendations also usually come with photos, and they should show you how your hair will look before and after using the dye, with your base color in mind.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s why you won&#8217;t find any dye that will recommend using a blonde dye on black hair and you also won&#8217;t find one that recommends using a black dye on very light hair.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So, you know <span class=\"su-highlight\" style=\"background:#ffb5e8;color:#000000\">&nbsp;why your hair is saturated with color\/su_highlight]. And so, to end your suffering, <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>you need to get rid of the excess pigment.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>And here we come back to the clarifying shampoo. A todas las mujeres nos sucede que cuando estamos alegres festejamos con un cambio de look y cuando estamos en un mal momento renovamos las energ\u00edas en el sal\u00f3n. \u2022 Estudie en IAP (Instituto Argentino de peluquer\u00eda) para recibir mi t\u00edtulo de estilista en el a\u00f1o 2006. \u2022 Luego en el instituto tambi\u00e9n me especialice en colorimetr\u00eda, los colores y tonos del cabello son fundamentales para expresar lo que uno desea. \u2022 En el a\u00f1o 2015 en IAP tom\u00e9 cursos de alisado, b\u00f3tox y cauterizaci\u00f3n capilar. \u2022 Y en el a\u00f1o 2017 t\u00e9cnicas de desgastado (balayage, californianas etc). Mantenerse actualizada en las tendencias es fundamental para cualquier estilista. Cuando veo a mis clientas que ven el cabello exactamente como lo so\u00f1aban para mi es un logro personal. Me dedico especialmente a realizar cambios de look, colores fantas\u00edas, balayage, decoloraciones progresivas etc. Trabaje en varios salones, para adquirir toda la pr\u00e1ctica que necesitaba. La cadena de peluquer\u00edas \u00d3scar Colombo fue mi primer sal\u00f3n donde aprend\u00ed a interpretar a las clientas y a trabajar en equipo. Despu\u00e9s de un tiempo cambie mi enfoque a looks m\u00e1s osados en Monster Style, dedic\u00e1ndome full time a color, este sal\u00f3n en particular se dedicaba a cambios extremos colores fantas\u00edas y no convencionales, me sirvi\u00f3 mucho para aprender a utilizar la gama de tonos. Hasta que finalmente decid\u00ed armar mi sal\u00f3n en la comodidad de mi casa. Mi casa le da a mis clientas la tranquilidad de tener un espacio para ellas \u00fanicamente y totalmente personal, de esta manera cada una de ellas sabe que tienen un d\u00eda para distenderse y tambi\u00e9n, porque no, hablar de sus cosas. Para mi lo m\u00e1s importante es que obtengan el resultado que esperaban, as\u00ed que siempre pido una foto de referencia para saber bien que es lo que buscan y les doy un diagn\u00f3stico realista de cuantas sesiones llevar\u00e1, el da\u00f1o en el cabello, si se puede realizar o no.
