What is Alfaparf keratin?
It’s a treatment with a keratin base to straighten your hair and eliminate frizz. The result is much straighter, silkier hair that is easier to brush.
It’s a product that leaves your hair like a treatment done at a beauty salon.
Some say that their hair ends up like silk. I’m not sure what that means, but I think that it works to give you an idea of the results.
The treatment is done in 4 steps. Each one of the steps is done with a different product that is included in the kit.

Like we said, the treatment comes in a kit with 4 products.
Each products works with each one of the steps of the treatment.
However, I’ll say the same thing I always say. You need patience.
What does patience have to do with a hair treatment?

Because according to my experience, most people don’t get good results because they skip a step or because they do one of the steps poorly.
If you think you have the patience you need, then you don’t need to go to a salon because I’m going to show you how to apply the Alfaparf keratin at home step by step.
But if you don’t have patience, I recommend that you go to a salon to assure that they do it correctly and respect the steps.
You will spend more money but at least you can be sure that the treatment is well done.
Now that we’ve cleared that up, let’s move on to see what each of the 4 steps consists of.
Step by Step how to do a treatment at home
The treatment comes in a kit with 4 products. Each one of those products works for each one of the steps of the treatment.
You won’t doubt which product to use in each step because they come clearly marked with the number on the package.
This is the complete kit.
Just like almost all treatments, the first step is to wash your hair.
Like we already said, it is fundamental to do each step well to get the best results.
Washing your hair may seem like something simple. It’s so simple that many people do it wrong.
Once you apply the shampoo, you have to massage it from the roots. Where the hair starts. This is the place where the most amount of residues accumulates.
Massage the hair until you get a lot of foam. Just then are we going to rinse the hair.
Repeat the whole washing process one more time.
To finish this process, we have to dry the hair completely. Make sure that the hair dryer doesn’t come into direct contact with the hair.
Now is the moment to apply the keratin itself.
First, we are going to divide the hair into 4 sections. In general, 4 sections is sufficient. However, there are some people who, because of the way it falls, they may need to divide their hair into more or maybe less sections.
The idea is to divide the hair in the same way that you do when you dry it or when you brush it.
You’re going to apply the keratin piece by piece with the help of a brush.
After, distribute the product throughout your hair with the help of a fine-toothed comb. This last step helps the product penetrate the hair.
Let the product sit for 20 minutes.
IMPORTANT: use gloves to apply the product.
This step is optional.
I recommend it, especially for people with very damaged or tangled hair.
Apply the detangling cream with your hands piece by piece. It’s important to use pressure with your fingertips on your hair. Pay special attention to the ends because they are usually more damaged.
Finally, you can finish distributing the product with the help of a fine-toothed comb.
Without rinsing out the product, we are going to use a comb to finish detangling the hair.
Now, let’s move on to flat ironing. Grab a string of hair no wider than .5 cm and let’s start flat ironing between 6 and 8 times. Repeat the process throughout your whole head.
Now, we’ve arrived at the last step.
Apply the hydrating mask to wet hair. Let it sit for 5 minutes and then rinse.
Dry your hair with a hair dryer.
IMPORTANT: The temperature of the iron should not be more than 200°/210° C. For fine or damaged hair, it shouldn’t be more than 180° C.
